I like to believe that God is using the Hubble telescope to say, "Hey, I am here. I am real. I am the creator of the universe." Surely the release of this photo at Christmas time is also divine!

Such was his intention when, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home. For it is through the holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her. ~ Matthew 1:20
When Joseph awoke, he did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took his wife into his home. ~Matthew 1:24In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth.. ~Luke 1:26
Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
~Luke 1:30
But Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, since I have no relations with a man?" And the angel said to her in reply, "The holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. ~Luke 1:34-35
Mary said, "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word." Then the angel departed from her. ~Luke 1:38
The angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were struck with great fear. The angel said to them, "Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. ~Luke 2:9-10
And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God ...
~Luke 2:13
When the angels went away from them to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let us go, then, to Bethlehem to see this thing that has taken place, which the Lord has made known to us." ~Luke 2:15
GLORY TO GOD!

You know, I wrote about this also, about a week ago..The angel appeared to Mary, a brave 12-16 yr old? And she accepted his words, and the Word became Flesh in her...Amazing. And then the thousands of angels that announced the birth to the sheppards.. Yes it is all amazing. God Bless you and Ron this Christmas.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Isn't God just spectacular?!
What an incredible photo, I loved seeing it and seeing both our posts on angels. I did a little research to try to find the perfect scripture for the marble carving I posted so it is close to my spirit right now.
Blessings,

I've been helping my grandkids with science homework and projects a lot this year and just keep marveling, in my heart - and to them, at the mighty works of God as we observe the planets, the sun, the moon. Just think - a bit closer, we'd be dead from heat, a bit further, we'd be freezing. God has them placed absolutely perfectly. AWESOME. Thank you for another lovely reminder of His glory and power. :)
It takes more faith than I have to believe God didn't create this world. There is a God and I know this because He's MY God!
May your Christmas be peaceful,
Pamela
God is definitely into detail - stunning, awe-inspiring photo of God's might creation!
Your scripture choices so speak about our choices - to walk in faith even when we don't see that kind of awe-inspiring creation! Wouldn't you have loved to have been one of those shepherds! I would have!
Merry Christmas!
Amen, our God is the maker of Heaven and Earth ! Beautiful Post !
Merry Christmas ! Praying for Y'all.
